Deprecated api_version field on stats

The api_version field on the /stats method has been deprecated. This field is a legacy hold over from the pre-1.0 beta of the API, when the version number was changing rapidly. It really didn't make sense in the final 1.0 release, but snuck into the 0.9 Release Candidate.

For compatibility reasons, the 1.1 version of the API continues to self-report as 1.0.

Developers should expect this field to be removed in a future API release. The revision sub-field will be retained in some form for bug reporting purposes.
